I may have issue with some of the things Whole30 says, but Paleo and CF work…PERIOD! He may not be what you typically think of when someone says, “CrossFitter”, but EVERYTHING about the transormation he has undergone and the challenges he’s faced SCREAM it.

This morning my dash is littered with a few things I don’t understand…
- Posting pictures of people doing CrossFit with quotes like “to be able to do/look like…” and then seeing workout postings of completely different programming and movements. If you want to be able to do things like that or look like that, chances are YOU SHOULD BE DOING WHAT THEY ARE. CFers typically choose FUNCTION over FORM. Meaning the FORM happens from WHAT they do, NOT training to LOOK a specific way.
- The near obsession with oatmeal. It’s a bland grain. It contains anti-nutrients. It is NOT a “super food”. We feed animals oats to fatten them up.
- And this ties right into the first rant, “I want to do CrossFit but I’ve got to get in shape first”, this annoys the HELL OUT OF ME! Now I understand from an outside perspective it can seem intimidating but I don’t care if you’re a Professional Athlete or Professional Couch Potato, CF IS FOR EVERYONE! You want to know what gets you in shape for CrossFit…CROSSFIT! You didn’t learn to ride a bike by skateboarding.
Someone I beg of you, bring me Kale Chips!
